About Mobile Device Developers (MDD)
Mobile Device Developers LLC was founded and based on the principles of integrity, technological innovation, discipline, and sound business practices. We are based in the Washington D.C. Metropolis Area, just minutes away from many of our Federal Government clients.
Our founder, Mr. Rodney Colley was inspired to fill a niche in the market place for customized, web enabled mobile applications and launched MMD in 2009. With the aide of his co-founders ( Marilyn Rivera, Jeff Francis, and Calvert Acklin) and MDD's executive board, the company continues to grow and has provided solutions for Federal and Commercial clients like the United States EPA, The Department of Labor and The Defense Logistic Agency, just to name a few. MDD recently released the "MY Jeans" mobile application which can be downloaded from Apple's iStore.
MDD solutions and array of services has caught the attention of Advance Technology System (ATS). MDD, along with several other industry respected corporations, has partnered with ATS in a ATS-USACOMP Joint Venture project to provide a Integrated Electronic Healthcare Solution to the République de Côte d'Ivoire Government, in West Africa. MDD focus is to provide seamless, "anytime, anywhere", secure access to patent and hospital records.
MDD has been tasked with designing and delivering "iPhone Development" training to students at the prestigious and historic Laurinburg Institute of Lauringburg, North Carolina. The Laurinburg Normal Industrial Institute was founded on September 15, 1904, in Laurinburg, North Carolina, by Emmanuel McDuffie and his wife Tinny Etheridge McDuffie at the request of Booker T. Washington of the Tuskegee Institute and William Edwards of the Snow Hill Institute; Laurinburg is the oldest of only four historically African-American boarding schools still remaining in the United States.
MDD is also the primary technology partner for Stem Cell Authority Ltd (www.stemcellauthority.com), managing a $50 million account with the exclusive rights to sell its national affiliate groups.
In October, 2009, the U.S. House of Representatives passed House Resolution 660 recognizing the Laurinburg Institute for their rich and distinguished history acknowledging the remarkable contributions to the education of African-Americans and other people.
Recently, Representative Larry Kissell, the Congressman who represents the Laurinburg Institute, secured federal funding from the federal appropriations process to develop Laurinburg’s math, science and technology, and engineering program, thus enabling MDD to help this historic institution with class room and web based delivery of instruction.
MDD and other Laurinburg supporters sponsored an appreciation ceremony for Representative Kissell and the North Carolina Delegation on February 23, 2010, from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM, at the Capitol Visitor's Center, U.S. Capitol House Reception Hall.
